We Serve a Big God!

As followers of Jesus Christ, we serve a big God.  A really, really big God. I know sometimes in life it seems as though the issues we’re dealing with are simply too big for God to handle. Death. Sickness. Divorce. Layoff, etc…

And yes, these are heavy issues. But our God can handle ALL our problems.  The Word of God declares that nothing catches Him by surprise.

“Indeed before the day was, I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” — Isaiah 43:13

We have to exercise faith and believe that God is working out the fine details that we cannot see with our natural eyes.  Just as the scripture says, we have to believe that before there ever was a problem, God knew.  He is able to shoulder our burdens. He is able to work it out. He is able to make all things new again.  He is able to mend a broken heart.  He is able to bring healing to sick bodies. He is able to restore finances. He is able to restore fractured relationships.  He is able. Amen!

That’s why I love this recording, “You’re Bigger”, by Jekalyn Carr.  It’s an awesome song and powerful reminder that the God we serve is bigger than any challenge we’re currently facing or might face in the future.

I pray this song ministers to you today.  Click here to listen.

Meditate on this: “Indeed before the day was, I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” — Isaiah 43:13
